You’re invited to a Pajama Party! Wear your warmest pajamas to school on Thursday and Friday, February 21st and 22nd, to celebrate “letter Pp week”!
(Please keep the weather in mind and layer appropriately if needed. Please leave your slippers, robes, blankies, and stuffed animals at home and wear regular shoes so that we can play safely at school.)
Kinder Works is closed on Monday, February 18th, for Presidents Day. Have a great weekend, everyone, and we’ll see you on Tuesday!

“Acts of Kindness”
This month’s Show & Tell is an exciting opportunity to celebrate the thoughtfulness and generosity that our Kinder Works children display each and every day! Please share an “Act of Kindness” that you witnessed your child do either at home or elsewhere by writing it inside a heart (hearts were sent home last week in your child’s mail file). Then, have/help your child cut-out, color, paint, and/or decorate the heart to make it “uniquely his/her own.”
We look forward to celebrating these “Acts of Kindness” during Show & Tell this month!
Our February Theme:
HEALTHY HEARTS: In Our Relationships & In Our Bodies
RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS this month! Help us catch Random Acts of Kindness with this month’s Show & Tell (February 7th & 8th); check your child’s mail file for a special heart to display! All month long, we’ll celebrate acts of kindness, big & small, that warm our hearts.
Lily Hardy Hammond wrote, “You don’t pay love back; you pay it forward.” The first half of this month is dedicated to “paying it forward” to everyone around us. We can do this with hearts & flowers, loving-kindness & thoughtfulness, and simply with hugs. This is a wonderful way to learn about ourselves and our relationships, an important EQ lesson. And of course, we will give a nod to Valentines’ Celebrations (February 13th & 14th) with days dedicated to loving and kindness in our relationships.
For the second half of the month, we will give the gift that keeps on giving to ourselves! We will learn how to take care of our HEALTHY HEARTS. We will explore health and fitness, body awareness and parts of the body. Exercise, plenty of rest and a good night’s sleep, a good diet, dental care, and fresh air are some of the ingredients we need for a healthy heart. A healthy heart keeps us going and growing!
